Anika is an autodidactic artist working in a variety of mediums from ink and watercolour to cyanotypes, the written word and the woven thread. Through this eclectic mixture of work she gives form to her inner world, bringing forth deeper more universal truths.

especially being a woman, she can speak to pain and joy that it is to be alive.

using art as healing

throughout her life she has struggled with depression and has made it her mission to let herself be tempered by her experience in order to speak to dignity self love integrity. by laying bare her inner most aspects she is saying that all is valid and she accepts herself wholey.
